Our superintendent, Mr. Wilson's task is two-told. Besides being head of our educational program, he manages and reg- ulates all business transactions. Mr. Dungan, as the co-ordinator of secondary education, administers all standardized tests in our school system. Student guidance and parent-student problems are in the hands of Mr. Crawford. His work includes the records and en- rollment ot the student body and the construction of the master schedules. Responsibility for the disciplining of students, making ot schedules ot classes, and procuring substitute teachers are the duties ot our assistant principal, Mr. Marley. LYTLE M. A D DUNGAN ROBERT CRAWFORD FRAN IS MAPL Y Assistant Superintendent High School Principal Assistant Hgh School Pr nc pal Theirs is the job of guiding the pupils of our school. They must point out the different subjects offered, they must also give the students counsel as to which course Will best serve their purpose. Their influence in these Ways is greatly felt and appreciated. The results are seen in the high academic standing of our school. Aliquippa High School is equipped to offer the students a variety of courses and subjects with capable teachers to instruct the various classes. There are: the academic course, preparatory to college, the commercial course, which turns out efficient book- keepers, and the stenographic course for ambitious girls and boys who aim to be secretaries. Also, there is a clerical-selling course offered, home economics, the general scientific, and a pre-nursing course. Careful lest they overlook the boys who wish to prepare for trades, an industrial course was established, which trains effi- cient and capable machinists, electricians, auto mechanics, and carpenters. Yes, the principals and high school faculty wield a mighty sword of guidance and advice, which makes the Work of the stu- dents easier and more enjoyable.
