Quill 8 Scroll, the International Hon- orary Society for High School Journal- ists, was organized on April IQ l926, by a group of high school publications ad- visors. Scholars enjo fine arts Parnassus society recognized schol- arship and provided an organization through which students enjoyed the fine arts. To be eligible to be in Parnassus, the student must ha ve been on the Honor Roll for at least one se- mester, and paid dues of three dollars per year. The members learned cultur- al enrichment as well as knowledge of the arts by involving themselves in events, presentations, and places such as, Lyric Opera Theater, Phoenix Little Theater, Phoenix Symphony, and Phoenix Art Museum.
