Choralettes, an all girls advanced chorus, had as their main objec- tives to become acquainted with all types of choral hterature, to inr prove choral preforniance, no pro- vide school and community with choral programs, tespecially during the Christmas seasonl, to partici- pate in choral festivals sponsored at the state universities, and to enhance and pronune the cuhural atutudes of the school and conr munity toward a higher status in music. Tlns year at the annual univer- sity festival, in competition with high schools from five other states in the south-west, the group re- ceived a superior rating, the high- est possible.
