What was the final program? A remodeled patio, gardens, and the biggest construction of all--the Court of the lVIoors. just as the countries along the highway have Contributed to its progress, so have the service clubs donatd to campus improvements. W h e n Brick Day was prof claimed, each student brought a brick for the Court of the lVloors. Volunteer students and the biology classes served as Construction workers with Miss Er- wine acting as head en- gineer.

The new pedagogs added last fall along the local educational itinerary were Mr. R. Armstrong, Mrs. E. C. Lutrell, Mrs. Thelma C. Strornberger. Mr. Ivan C. Tagert, Mr. K. M. Wilson, and Mr. Arthur Dakan. February additions were Mrs. Ruth W. Maupin and Mr. Claude L. Durham. More than ninety of these guardians of the American 'VVay through education are on duty at Alhambra High School, and have entered' with purpose and vigor into- plans for contributing their share in the National Defense program. 24
