ghriri frncw rogram Needled pines not only cover the slopes of the Canadian Rockies, but at Christmas time cast their silhouettes across the front porch of Alhambra High School. Throughout the years, at each yuletide, the entire student body and various clubs have contributed food for the Christmas boxes which are given to needy families. This year, in making the Yule boxes complete, the Girls' League and Boys' Federation added approximately sixty dollars worth of groceries. Filled to capacity, the boxes were placed beneath the immense Christmas tree on the front porch where the students could admire them as they filed into the traditional Christmas as- sembly in the auditorium. Songs from the orchestra and glee clubs inspired the students with the proper Christmas spirit. 16
