Eveleen Winter- bottom was this yearis capable Girls' League presi- dent. The League hostessed the Boys' Federation at a luncheon last September, and combining, the groups hosted the school at a moving picture. Again at Christmas time they worked together on Christmas boxes. Ewing Konoid acted as highway foreman on the all-important project of guiding the boys of A. H. S. through the 1941 Shift Boys' Federation officers for the 1940-'41 semester were: Tom Stanton, president: Iaclc Higgins, vice-president: Pat Welsh, secretary: and jerry Strong, treasurer. Public Service was handled by jack Erickson first semester, and Ed O'Sullivan second semester. Craig Harvey led Public Service operations. School Service was attended to by Laverne Hizbbard. Among the many services rendered by the Federation was the issuance of tags for the football games, offering timely slogans which contributed to school spirit, Another successful effort was made to clean up the campus and keep it so. A dance at the Story Park Clubhouse high- lighted their many activities. 15
