Rock-a-thon LI, spends 24 hours for special people B.O.E.C.’s 3rd annual Rock-a-thon was held October llth-12th. About $5,000 was raised by the 50 rockers for Special Olympics. Parents and restaurants from this area provided a great deal of help. The nurses really worked hard and there was a lot of co-operation from everyone. Even though it was cold and rainy (tspical AHS Rock-a-thon weather), and most of the rockers’ time was spent on the porches, everyone had fun and lasted the whole 24 hours. Ms. Jones was happy that everyone wanted to rock for Special Olympics rather than just for the fun of it.
