Overmyer has been Superintendent of the Algona Schools for the past nineteen years, He has the reputation of being one of the best school men in the stale, and has held many responsible positions connected with school work- last year 'being chosen as delegate to represent North-Central Iowa at the N. El. A.. held at Boston. Through his tireless energy, he has helped make the Algona High School rank among the best in Iowa. His cheerfulness, his optimism have smootihed out many a rough, path for discouraged boys and girls, and his sympathetic understanding has endeared him to all. His broad-mindednessf his thigh idenlsf'-his vision for better citizenship through the schools has won him an enviable place in the community.
