Alfred. a tiny town nestled away in Western New York. if you close your eyes you may miss it. sometimes it seems as though it's all l. I i h P u Alfred. where the snow is always pure white fmaybe a little yellow here and therelj . . . and when it melts, it rains, and rains, and RAINSg and then the whole town turns to mud! Alfred. a progressive little town. fafter you've been here 4 years, they finally get a donut shop and a GENUINE harll . . . and where else does it snow in the middle of May? If you go downtown on Saturday, everything is closed, but on Sunday, the whole town comes alive. fnow why would you say that Alfred is a backward town?!l. Alfred. happy hours are never missed. where you pub-it Saturday nitesg where you live for football games . . . V2 of which you can never seem to remember anyway! where people smile and say hello, and you don't even know them! Main Street: closed for St. Pat's parade-Hot Dog Day is uniquely 0URSg hippie droppings on the lawns. Alfred has now become your home: the things you thought you hated, you now know you really love . . . and you'll miss it. a place so seemingly insignificant, a town so truely unique. you have found Alfred. you can never forget itg you would never want to.
