QQ .L 4 ' Ray IX Reitz Makes a spectacular play to keep ball in play field. 7976-77 ALFRED STATE COLLEGE SOCCER The 1976 Alfred Soccer Team Completed another exciting season which started with a third place trophy from the LakeLand Community College Tournament in Ohio. The Pioneers chalked up 6 wins and 6 losses for a 500 season. This year's Most Valuable Player award will be awarded to Senior, Kent Annelp Planning Half Back. The Season 's Highlights came when the Pioneers maintained a four game winning streak. Late season injuries hampered the Booters for the last games of the season. Next year's season is greatly being looked forward to by returning freshmen and Coach Eggebraaten. Some talented high school Seniors are planning to attend and play which will give the 7.977-78 season its backbone.
