Galley. Organized two years ago, Alpha Beta Chi is the State Tech's first sorority. The purpose of the Sorority is to promote moral and social standards and to obtain a spirit of eomradeship. The activities sponsored by ABX during the year were: Intersorority Ball, ABX spring formal, Entertainment at Angelica county home at Chrlst mas, and the entertainment of orphans at Christ B11-9 mas Along with their brother fraternity, Psi Delta Omega, ABX also sponsored a Christmas Dance. .. Pi Nu Epsilon was formed last year. It is the Beta Chapter afiiliated with Canton State Tech. Pi Nu has a brother and sister relationship with Theta Gamma. The two big dances which Pi Nu held during the year were the Showboat dance with Theta Gamma, and the Spring formal, which was put on by the sorority alone. b s X A P1 Nu participated ln the following events: In- tersorority Ball, Showboat dance with Theta Gamma, Pi Nu Spring formal, Christmas party with Delta Sig for Alfred children, and the Amateur Show in which they won first prize with Theta Gamma. 72

The house meetings are held on every Monday night at 7 o'elock. The activities of the house include social, ath- letic, and public welfare. We participate in all of the social functions on the campus, the five name dances, student council dances, such as the Christmas Dance. In the spring, the annual Spring Formal is held at the , El , w' m y X Qs Hotel Sheraton in Rochester. Various parties are held at all times of the year after dances and games. In the warm weather, there are picnics and hay rides. Dobson House and Psi D go to Stony Brook every spring. The desserts with the various women's houses begin in the fall and continue in the spring.
