They took the majority of their meets and placed in the top twenty out of forty-eight teams in the State meet. District Champs: Masters of the Game The 86-87 Trojans had another dynamite year as they took district in AAAA for the second year straight. They finished 18-4 overoll when they were defeated in the state AAAA semifinals. This success was due in large measure to the outstanding per- formance of the players. Junior Craig Bradshaw made All-Star pitcher with a win-loss record of 113-O. Senior Tim Johnson made All-District outfield and hit 1318. Freshman Charlie Jones was All- District Grd baseman and hit 462, and Junior Marvin Cole was All- District shortstop hitting 419. There are definitely professional pros- pects on this team! Head Coach Don Boniol believes They really had a great year considering they were so young.
