Through a Work Study Program, the teachers in the Special Education Department help their students of today become productive adults of tomorrow. The students learn high school subjects along with work skills in their first year at ASH. During the second two years, the students go to work at a job in which they can use the skills that they have learned. Learn- ing to work with people is a vital part of the Work Study Program. The Special Education teachers at ASH bring this idea to all of their students and the students will carry it with them along the road to theirfutures. fa wr . W Alright, let's get to work! Who tries to help stu- dents with their problems? The guidance counselors do all this and more. They are always working, but they are never too busy to help a student.
