When the Egyptians built pyramids, they first laid a strong foundation. They then added the blocks, one by one, and made sure that each was securely in place. The math teachers at A.S.H. first build a foundation of basic mathematics. They then add one block at a time and make sure that each is grasped securely and understood fully by the stu- dents.
