School Patrol The School Patrol is designed for the safety of both the students and drivers. The busy comers are patroled during noon hours and after school. Junior Red Cross The Junior Red Cross has charge of various health drives. The Blood Bank and sending a gift chest overseas are only two of the numerous jobs they do. Future Business Leaders The Future Business Leaders club provides recreational, educational and social opportunities for the people on the training program. This program gives high school seniors valuable experience in business of all kinds. Some of the highlights of the year included the employers dinner, parents night, and regional meetings. Assurance of the continuance of Alexandria as a farming district is given by the Future Farmers of America. The Alexandria chapter of FFA is one of several thousand such organizations in the U. S. The local chapter was organized in February of 1941. The charter was received at the same time. Monthly meetings are held. This year the FFA sent ten delegates to the National Convention in Kansas City. The purpose of this club is to introduce and improve new farming methods. The FFA sponsored Parent's Night, the Father-Son banquet and supervised farm projects, all of which are held during the year. The officers for the year were Glen Hovland, president; Richard Angus, vice president; Larry Hillesland, secretary; Richard Collins, treasurer; Glen Tunberg, reporter; Larry Nelson, sentinel; and Mr. Ahlfors and Mr. Paciotti, faculty advisors.
