Junior Red Cross The Junior Red Cross has charge of various health drives. The Blood Bank and sending a gift chest overseas are only two of the numerous jobs they do. Future Business Leaders The Future Business Leaders club provides recreational, educational and social opportunities for the people on the training program. This program gives high school seniors valuable experience in business of all kinds. Some of the highlights of the year included the employers dinner, parents night, and regional meetings. Future Nurses’ Club Future Nurse's Club is an organization for senior high girls who are interested in the nursing and medical fields. Many programs were given and actual trips were taken to acquaint the members with the phases of nursing and medical technology. Sandra Hendrickson serves as president; Marie Wadsworth as vice president; Mary Clifford as secretary, and Dorothy Tyson as treasurer. The advisor is Mrs. Johnson. ROW ONE, Left to Right: J. Youth Council The Youth Council works with the Recreation Board and Community Council for the purpose of bettering the community for youth. The Youth Council has sponsored the Halloween dance and several other Teen Hops. The members are made up of one representative from all the organizations in Alexandria. Wendell Kjos serves as president; Charles McDonald is the vice president; Bette Norgren is the secretary; and Mary Norgren is treasurer. The advisor is Russ Rolandson. FIRST ROW, left to right: M. School Patrol The School Patrol is designed for the safety of both the students and drivers. The busy comers are patroled during noon hours and after school. Twice a year a banquet is held at the Legion Club, which is their sponsor. The club's advisor is Mr. Morris Butler. FIRST ROW: P. Malherek, D. Skoglund, F. Herzog, D. Froemming, T. Halverson, C. They also must see to it that the announcing system for assemblies, concerts, and basketball games is set up. Recordings of important speeches or programs are taken. Officers for this club are: A.
