The 1957 ALEXIAN was published for the purpose of re- cording the events and happenings that took place in our school during the year 1956-57. Bound between these covers are recorded in words and pictures the organizations and events which go to make up the high school we all wish to remember. In the pages that follow, are glimpses of class room activities, athletics, mu- sic, parties, and everyday school life. STUDENT COUNCIL ADRAIN ANDERSON The Student Council is composed of the vice president of each class and representatives from the home rooms. The council works with the faculty in the control of the school and is a link between the facluty and the student body. In this organization the students' opinions are voiced through their representatives. The activities that is sponsors are Homecoming, The Spring Re- view, and it also controls hall traffic. Two delegates were sent to South St. Paul to the Minnesota As- sociation of Student Councils. Bette Norgren was elected State Treasurer of the MSA SC. The officers are Adrian Anderson, president, Darrel Steen, vice president, Agnes Johnson, secretary-treasurer. Mr. Ording is the faculty advisor. DARREL STEEN J' AGNES JOHNSON 6
