iaM Will ahil y eJtatneht State — V ir inia County — Norfolk City — Portsmouth We, the Senior class of 1947, being in possession of a crammed mind and well-trained memory, being about to pass on into manhood and womanhood, do hereby declare this our last will and testament. We hereby revoke and make void any former wills and promises made while we were in sound or unsound minds. Section I Article 1; To our parents we bequeath the love and appreciation for their trying to see us through school life. Article 2: To A. P. H. S. we leave our excellent example as students. Section II Article 1. To the faculty we leave the admiration of the senior for their taking insults and wise-cracks as horrnless little jokes. Section m Article 1: To the Junior class we bestow oui well-earned treasurers. Some of these are the senior dignity, unusual wit, splendid grades, and the privilege of being Pets of the school. May the juniors use these to their and others advantage. Article 2: To the Sophomore class, who will soon be Juniors, we bequeath all the mistakes we hove made. We learned much by these mistakes. We leave all the paper, chewed-up pencils, and chewing qum found in our desks and behind the radiators. Article 3: To the Freshman class, who will soon be Sophomores, we leave the art of being handsome and beautiful so they will be able to get hooked in the years to come. I, Bob Anthony, will my quiet ways to Pete Respess. I, Miriam Drew, will my athletic ability to Mary Wadford. I, Rqy Bracy, will my physique to Hughland Lamm. I, Barbara Jeon Smith, will my ability to come to school and work to Nedra Nave. I, Howard Crowson, will my athletic ability to Billy Saunders. I, Betsy Walsh, will my good grades to H. A. Barton. I, Doris Cooke, will my genteel ways to Ruby Shrader. I, Joke Pryor, will my good looks to Ray McDowell. I, James Hardee, will my studious habits to Dorothy Hasty. I, Ramona Estep, will my late hours to Mary Harper. I, Robert Henderson, will my jealous ways to Jean Raley. I, E( die Hedge, will my ability to skip school to Jimmy Blount.
