A 11 CLASS As tenth graders we started out our life at Hamilton with a boom. The class spirit was strong, and we united with another class to have a basketball game in the gym. We held a noon dance which brought our class closer together. ln the eleventh grade We had a class picnic at Playa del Rey. We had volleyball and swimming, and fun was had by all that attended. This semester, with Fred Leight as our leader, we had a successful class dinner at the Farmers Market. The members of our class are showing their school spirit by participating in school activities, among these are Student Court, Student Body Cabinet, and Drill team. Shown are Ered Leight, President, Clarence Smith, VicefPresident. Other officers are Sherrie Gunther, Secretary and Ioelle Sherwood, Treasurer. LETTERS continued PROUD TO BE A YANKEE DEAR EVITORSQ Our school spirit has been the best, and I am happy to say I am a part of that spirit. I surely hope, as the years go on, this spirit will grow so strong that it shall never fall. I shall never forget the small bit that l have done on committees at Hamilton because they have helped me to understand how wonderful it is to work together to build a bigger and better school such as Hamilton. Also played IV basketball and baseball on the Yankee sguadsmgained further honors when he won first place in Hami's 1953 Hot Rod Showmschool service included class council, House of Representatives, hall guard, and playing in the band., C23 Marilyn Kamisher served as Senior Bee Treasurer of the Parisian class, and was class song leader...After graduation, Marilyn will attend U.C.L.A., and then plans to make a trip around the world with Mel... C33 Bob Berton was twice President of the Pane American Club, member of the Iunior Philharmonic Club, Commencement Committee, Hospitality and Civ! ilian Defense Committees, public speaker, Nevian, and Sealbearer... C43 Diana Dotseth served as President and Recording Secretary of G.A.A., Vice President of Eirst Ladies. Letterairls, A Cappella Historian, and Girls' Glee ac- companist. . . ln the future Diana plans to do lots of church work, and hopes to have a happy and successf ful marriage. C53 Mayer Musicant participated in school activities as a member of the House of Representatives, Eederalf ist reporter, Prom and Commencement Committees. and mainly as an academic major... Euture plans are to attend the University of California and to study medicine... C63 Harriet Wagman was a member of the Zanderet- tes Service Club, class council, Rally Committee, SP. TA., House of Representatives, Civi-De-Aides, B12 hall guard, and Senior Service Society... C73 Iohn Mahood was Lt. Colonel of R,O.T.C. Unit, President of the Lancers Club, and was a member of the Boys Medical Aid and Commencement Committees... Iohn will attend U.C.L.A. as a medic major... La Vie is terrific...
