Be a Part of Your School If you are the type person who doesn't choose to be in band, choir, drill team or a club, you can still he a part of the activities at school. You might devote your energy toward academics taking advanced courses such as Spanish II, Chemistry or Com- puter Literaey. By your hard work you could become a member of the National Honor Society. Some students might choose to be a part of the teachers, aide program. These students devote their study-hall time to helping the faculty with many of their clerical duties. Or a student might choose to participate in a sport such as football, basketball, volleyball, track or baseball. Other students simp- ly choose to take part in the social ac- tivities. The cheerleaders had many special preparations in- cluding many cheers, the introduc- tion of the homecoming queen nominees plus the last minute en- tries from each classf' and the presentation of the victory flag. After the pep rally the student hody was so filled with spirit that some of them even sprayed their hair orange! Then the climax of the day - the football game with Ferris.
