TUDENT ACTI ITIE Student activities at AHS are many and varied so if a student wants to be involved it is an easy thing to do. One thing a student might do is join the band which is a group who greatly contributes to the spirit and quality of our school. Or perhaps, a student might join choir which is a top quality ensemble that strives for ex- cellence in everything they do. If neither of these groups interest a student, then she could try out for drill team or cheerleader. If a student feels that these activities are too time consuming, he might join one of the clubs such as FBLA which is related to the business world, the FHA which is concerned with homemaking activities, the FFA which deals with agriculture related activities, or the Literary Club for the literary minded student. If a student is a junior, then he had better be prepared to become involved since the juniors work very hard in the concession stands to raise money for the Junior-Senior Prom. If a student wishes to get involved on a short term basis, he might volunteer to be in a skit at pep rally. As one can see there are many different ways to become in- volved at AHS. Upper Right: Beauty or Beast? Craig Hargrove and Stacy Everett dress up as cheerleaders during a pep rally. Lower Left: May I help you?
