THESUPERI TE DE T PEAK The only reason that the people of the Fontana community have constructed schools and have hired teachers and other employees is to insure that you receive a proper education, based on your ability and your energy output. Whether you want to admit it or not, you are a very im- portant individual to us. Without you, the schools could not function at all. The three main ingredients in any school system are the pupil, the teacher, and the relationship they establish--which we call learning. I guess what I really mean to say is that under our democratic system you have a right to be here and you have a right to receive an education that is meaningful and relevent to today's world. You also have a duty, and that is to become an educated individual so that you, in your own unique way, can contrib- ute to the betterment of yourself and the society that you rep- resent.
