J Class History A bright, cheerful day in the fall of '56, the doors flew open, we entered with much vivaciousness. There wasn't a doubt in the teachers' minds of the success of the class of '60. The class, consisting of'h2, can thank Dick Walters for our upbringing by his outstanding leadership, of course, he could.n't have done it without Terry Burseth. The extraordinary happenings from day to day were msterfully recorded by Sandy Grabbert, and most important of all, our financial flow rms kept in hand by Jack Kramer. The outside world happenings were brought to us by Kathy Fabri and Ronnie Losee. One of their short bulletins read: 'Our float, 'It's Time for Victory' won first place. The candy sale was a success. And what fun the roller skating parties were! Again' in '57, our activities were continued under the direction of Dick Walters with the aid of Dennis O'Brien. The events of the class were jotted - down hy Narilynn Ruehlmn. Sally Kuecker did an exceptional Job in handling our financial problems. Donna Popenhagen and Larry Lindow were elected to the high council. We took a stab at our first dance, the 'Jail House Rock. The year came to a quiet close with a class dance and the annual picnic with a movie at Lme Geneva. Our Junior year was one we all enjoyed. Larry Lindow was elected to set an example for us, and Ronnie Losee took over in his absence. Not a notion escaped Donna Popenhagen's pencil. Between Jack Kramer, our treasurer, later taken over by Bob Berry, and Dale Blackburn, business manager, we were kept from bankruptcy. To keep us up-to-date, we were aided by Harilynn Ruehlmn and Dick Walters, student council representatives. At Homecoming, our float, 'White Water Falls, won first place. This year we learned much about business mtters, with om' candy and pop, which we sold at the games. Above all, we hope that our prom, 'Isle of Golden Dreams, will ,linger in the minds of everyone as it will in ours. It will linger best in the minds of Queen Hsrllynn Ruehhan, King Ronnie Losee, and the court, Kathy Fsbri, Dick Walters , Sandra Cornue, and Russell Mansfield. This, our last year in Alden-Hebron High School, was filled with exciting events and extraordinary happenings. Russell Mansfield guided our class with the capable help of Frances Gbenauf. Our episodes will never be forgotten because of our efficient secretary, Kathy Fabri. Under the expert hands of Dennis 0'Brien, we had no difficulty with money problems. The class repre- sentatives for the student body were Karen Weiberg and Dick Walters. To start the year off with a bang, we had our magazine campaign, quickly followed by a sock hop in the new gyn. For Homecoming, our car created big excitement and our float, Victory in our Heart, won second place. At Christmastime, we put on ytwohonz act plays, Pop Reads the Christmas Carol' and It's a Gift. Since, our first year in high school, we have worked lmrd for a class trip. 'We went East during Easter vacation. The 26 that are left look forward to the day when we wear our caps and gowns. fffffl ogy ff Qs wk
