They finished league play with a 2-1 victory over Corfu and a 7-1 overall record. This entitled them to go to the section V play-offs They drew a bye in the quarter- final round and played Phelps in the semi-finals. Defeating Phelps by a 12-9 score they ad- vanced to the finals, where they lost a tough decision to Bolivar, 5-3. A great deal of credit belongs to the players as well as to coaches Hay and Schaefer.
