Fievel Brings Homecoming Spirit To A.H.S. 1987 Homecoming Royalty- Front row: Jesse Voss, Brian Larsen, Mike Embrock, Kim Wegner. Kate Buum, Jill Lundberg. Jill Akland. and Esther Gubbrud. Back row Steve VanEgdom. Aaron Johnson. Troy Long, King David Stuart. Queen Kathie Brady. Jolene Osterkamp. Ginger Waddell, and Angie Limoges. As the lights dimmed and the curtains parted, the theme song of Homecoming 1987, Somewhere, Out There, was played by Kristi Nygard. MC Renee Bouth- illier then introduced the candidates and attendants. Soon it was announced that Kathie Brady and Dave Stuart were Homecoming Queen and King. After they were crowned and robed, the classes and organiza- tions presented many entertaining skits. Homecoming activities ended on Friday with the downtown pep rally. The burning of the A was held before the Homecoming football game versus the Irene Cardinals. The Cubs were victorious over the Cardinals with the final score of 14-8. The Homecom- ing victory was celebrated at the dance which ended a Homecoming week that will be remembered for many years to come.
