FFA Membership Grows The Alcester Chapter of the Future Farmers of Amer- ica had a very successful 81- 82 school year. The FFA started out the year with their BOSDC project. Their project consisted of donating $500 toward the contribution of the new restrooms at the football baseball field. In November, three of the sen- ior FFA members, Jon L., Tim A., and Dave F., repre- sented Alcester at the Na- tional FFA Convention in Kansas City. Some of the other activities that the local chapter worked on were sell- ing fruit, replacing and re- pairing street signs. The highlight of the year was having three state farmers in one year and also the possi- bility of having a state offi- cers.
