'Juniors Presents ‘' 3at hers Keen to ’' Fathers Been to Mars was the play performed by the Junior Class on April 1 and 2. Father is Larry Gibson, a T. V. space hero. His habit of wearing his suit at home and talking as if he is living in the 25th century constantly embarrases his 18-year old daughter, Gloria and al- most causes him to lose an important promotion on his job. The day is saved however, by Gloria's boyfriend Ned Morris who comes to the rescue and gets Mr. Gibson his promotion and makes peace in the family. Mr. Jerry Joachim directed the play which was well-received by the audiences both nights. Above Left: Shirley Johnson applies make-up to Kevin Scbesta before the play. Seniors Display Acting Ability March 19 and 20 were the dates of the senior class play» Finders Creep- ers. 'Ilie play» a mystery-Comedy, was directed by Mr. Hall and Mrs. Goldam- mer. Nelson Funeral Home is the eerie scene of the play. The plot revolved around Jason Quigley, who is supposedly dead, and the two boys, Wilbur and Her- cules who try to discover who killed him. The production was well-received by the audiences both nights and the cast felt that all the work they had put into it was well worth it. German Club Js Hack After being dropped for one year, the German Club has again formed with Mr. Schnabel as their teacher and advisor. Members consists of those taking German I. Selling concessions and providing bands for the Homecoming and Sweetheart dances were this years Student Councils major ac- tivities. At Christmas time the Student Council provided the film Picture Mommy Dead and treats for the students enjoyment. They also purchased a new camera for the school and participated in a state bicentennial proj- ect.
