Graduation marked a mile-stone for the senior class after having spent four glorious and educational years at AHS. This class has pre- sented two thrilling class plays, an enjoyable spring banquet, many leaders, scholars, record-breaking athletes, plus a variety of per- sonalities and faces. The red rose and the colors of red and white were used in decorating for commencement activities. The class has bid farewell to the halls of AHS; and through their many subjects nd responsibilities, they have been prepared to face the future with much courage. Paul Thormodsgard served as student body president with the assistance of eight other members and Mr. Herbold, their advisor. The student council carried out its usual activities for the year including a blanket toss” for the March of Dimes, and planning festivities for the Homecoming and Sweetheart affairs. Paul keeps busy with the correspondence for the student body. Student council members and assistances spin records for the Sweetheart Dance.
