Zoj al tllcester eJx ivithOhe Cubetfe Sta 0 553. ttlcestet%So, DaK. Jot‘u at4 In presenting to you the 1953 Cubette of Alcester high school, we have endeavored to portray some of the trials and achievements, the fun and the play we have ex- perienced during the school year. It has been our privi- lege to record these events, but we do not wish to leave the impression that it is a product merely of the annual staff. We have received advice and valuable assistance from our advisor, Miss Ruth Huether. We have contributed our thoughts, our plannings, and our efforts. We leave it in your hands--for your crit- icism, and we hope for your approval. 2 We dedicate We, the annual staff of 1953, dedicate this yearbook to our Homecoming Queen, Joyce Anderson, who died of polio on October 7, 1952. As fellow students we shall remember Joyce for her exuberant school spirit, vivacious personality and sunny disposition. She took a prominent part in the extra-cur- ricular activities of the school. . . . May this tribute help preserve the ideals in which she believed and which she practiced. 3 -vi-.tw- euLBeriE st ff tiSS, -pr oe-l i r • (Y VV W v t r Ok.t O Vv f w 3 o r of £ clue Ob. r «ow 2 3 t U.
