E . ...Sf Ohm All the Women students on the campus are organized into the Associated Women Students led by the President, Opal Smalley, with Margaret Faust, Vice President, and Edna Newby, Secretaryg and Mrs. June Shurtliff and Mrs. Dorothy Soeters, sponsors. At least one activity is sponsored each month directed by a captain ap- pointed for that month. Some of the outstanding events were the Sweet- heart Ball, Sadie Hawkins Day, Student-Faculty Teas, the annual assem- bly, and the big-little sister movement.

Cafabneffa The Cardinettes, under the direction of Mrs. Barbara Fagg, were organized in September of 1946. This group of six were selected from a group of 30 girls. The Cardinettes have made many performances throughout the year sing- ing at banquets, clubs and programs. One of their more outstanding events was the tour of Southern Idaho, which they accompanied the quar- tette, Cardinals and pep band. They plan to continue the Cardinettes through next year and years beyond that. They Wish to establish a permanent sextette Whose name can be- come as Well known as that of the Cardinals.

Talks by different members of the faculty, theater parties to Rupert and Burley, formal dinner, waffle supper, Christmas caroling, and Mother's Day tea were some of the activities sponsored by this organization.
