FRED ZIN K Commercial Commerclal CLASS HISTORY In 1950 48 erghth grade graduates from York jefferson Green and Albnon town shnps met nn the study hall as freshmen of Albron Hrgh School We all felt very young and green but gradually we became accustomed to h1gh school lnfe We elected the followmg class offrcers Karen Clouse president Kent Radcllffe vxce presrdent and Charles Mclntyre secretary and treasurer Our sponsors who helped us at class meetmgs and our class partnes rn the school cafeterra were Mrs Wenmer and Mr Hortne When we became sophomores our enrollment was 45 Our class offrcexs for the year were Karen Clouse presrclent Sonny Harlan vrce prestdent Mary McClanahan treasurer and Charles McIntyre secretary Mrs Church and Mr Brnll sponsored us thns year We selected our class sweaters whtch were gold wnth blue letters As junnors our enrollment was down to 43 The class sponsors were Mrs Austrll Clouse v1ce presndent Judy DeGroff secretary and Ronnre Hathaway treasurer Thrs was the year for our money makmg projects we sold magazmes and had concessnons at the ball games We also gave the play Take Your Medlcme whnch everyone seemed to enjoy Along wrth the senror class of 1953 we vnsrted our state government at Indtanapolts Most of us ordered class rmgs whnch were Lucky Star pattern. Flnally our semor year arrrved Our begmnlng enrollment was 39 We were thmknng more about our future and chose subjects that would help us then We pre sented our class play Love Is Too Much Trouble rn October wnth Mrs Austnll as director The senror class offrcers were as follows Jtm McCoy, presrdent Karen Clouse vrce presndent and Becky Roscoe secretary and treasurer The btg events of the year were the senxor p1ctures and the class trnp to Washlngton and New York taken ln May But of course the bxggest thrlll of all was when all 38 of us marched up the ansle on May 19 for our graduatnon .
