FRESHMAN OFFICERS Top Rowt R. Skinner, G. Piloto lst Row: D. Boker, P. Standish FRESH MAN CLASS The first rung in the freshmen's ladder to success was electing Priscilla Standish as President, Geraldine Pilato as Vice-President, Daisy Baker as Secretary. and Robert Skinner as Treasurer. Out of the many freshman girls who participated in cheering tryouts, Eleanor Minckley and Dawn lVlinier were chosen for the junior Varsity Squad. Une freshman, Charles Derwick, honored his class by playing Varsity football. Many other freshmen took part on the Junior Varsity Squad. Dick Pilon, Charles Derwick, Jerry Edwards, Donald Hannon, john Daniels, john Ellis, and Tom Canale were among the boys who made up the junior Varsity basketball team. At Christmas, the freshman class, instead of having parties or exchanging gifts. sent approximately seventeen dollars to Buffalo to the Good Will Industry, an organization to give work to the handicapped. They hope to do this every year. Some freshman students proved to be musically inclined by taking part in band, Christmas Choir, and the operetta. During the course of the year, both boys and girls were active in the intra- mural program. The class owes a great deal to our advisors, Miss Ball, Miss Beeman, and Mrs. D'Amico. 4-T 1. n g. 6: f in - 47, r f- .X .

SOPHOMORE CLASS OFFICERS Top Row: R. Sadler, M. Gibbs lst Row: H. Babcock, R. Bergman SOPHOMORE CLASS These are the facts, just the facts, that's all, the facts. Last fall, the Sophomore Class of A. C. S. elected as class officers Harold Babcock, President, Race Bergman, Vice-President, Rosemary Sadler, Secretaryg and Ida Crawshaw, Treasurer. As far as athletics were concerned, the Sophomore Class rates first prize. A few of our rugged sophomore boys made the Varsity football squad and also found time to play on V. football squad, too. During basketball season, those who were able to get to games at seven o'clock were sure to see the V. basketball team com- posed mostly of sophomore boys dribbling down the court. The cheerleading tryouts late in September proved to be lucky for Nancy Bielinski, Ilah Long, and Susan Monagan who made the V. cheering squad. In the musical field, the sophomores played a large part. A number of sopho- mores were in the Clee Club and others in band. A few were chosen for the Christmas Choir and operetta. Daniel Lovable Cottovi played a leading role in Erminie. Next year we will be juniors, another step closer to the goal of every sophomore. All of us consider this year a beneficial and successful one, but we realize it couldnlt have been possible without the supervision of Mrs. Mahoney, Mrs. Holt, Mr. Schroeder and Mr. Monacelli. That's all, just the facts. Da-da-da-da-l l l l l
