ATHLETICS In the years 1890-91, a small group of literary students founded a publication that was to be a summary of the outstanding events and literary contributions of that school year. Since that time progress in the arts of photography and engraving has led yearbook staffs to the use of a greater amount of pictures and less of literary talent, till today we have a veritable picture book. In editing this fiftieth anniversary volume we have tried to portray a half century of change through the medium of sketches and photographs. We sincerely hope that we have recorded a true picture of the spirit of progress.
