Sophomore Class S t'FRIGl-ITENED Freshmen we entered Albia High School in the year of '34 to become members. As usual we were the victims of many pranlcs and much criticism, but in spite of this, we loyally stood by our school in athletics, music, dcclam, and scholastic 1 nonors. Now as the sophomore class of '35 and '36 we have become prominent members. This year one of the girls of our class, Eunice Dellfloss, won second place as a Valentine queen. We have three boys who received letters in football this year, they are, Maurice Olson, Homer Wilsoii, and Fred Christensen. Homer Wilson was on the second all-conference team. Also three boys played basketball, lwut none received a letter for that sport. Three other students, Jacob Cozad, Dolores Bettis, and Grace Feehan did well in declam, and we are very proud of them. Many other members took part in music and the various organiza- tions of the school. There are about one hundred and thirty in our class. We had a grand time at our party that took place in April. Now that we have a good start we expect to do more for our school in the following two years. I. Back Row-Charles Earney, George Davison, Bob Flynn, Eunice DeMoss. Kenneth Crabb.
