They visited Rome, Florence, Venice, Innsbruck, Geneva, Paris, London, and Amsterdam where they and other honored band students demonstrated their hne musicianship. if P0 WDER PUFF FOOTBALL The powder puff football game was a bigger success this year than last. After only a few days of practice, the girls suited up and were ready to go. The senior-freshman team scored a touchdown in the first quarter but missed the extra point. After a bad hrst half, the junior-sophomore team came back to score a touchdown 84 two extra points. The senior-frosh team put on a good fight but the junior-soph team managed to hold their ground til the end for a hard won victory. This was the first girls' football game played under our schooI's new lights. All the girls worked hard and had a really good time. 141
