01 In I80 ays Through these doors will pass the graduating seniors of 1958. This is not the only group leaving this building, for a large portion of the junior High will also be leaving for the new Southwest junior High School. Both groups are closing one door, only to open another-the door to the future. This past year these doors have been both a medium of education and entertainment. Many times the assemblies presented to tts came from within tl1e realm of our own school. Equally there were as many from the professional field. So often these programs were for civic enjoyment as well as for students. In a sense this auditorium was the beginning and end of our high school career. Six years ago the graduating seniors of this year were sitting in on an orientation program, designed to help them become more familiar witl1 this new situation during their first day of going uptown to school. Now, six years later, with the bulk of the senior class remaining the same, again we find them in the auditorium, but this time for the annual commencement exercises. They have traveled the last portion of the trip, around our school in 180 days.
