As I watch the home liihts die away, sweet straias of music hold my soul entronced and I looked about to see from whence they came. There stood Doris McAlister about to make her debut in Carnegie Hall, the same who had so often sung 'The Old Lamplightern for us in high school. The music fades away and I find myself gazing into the Detroit Public Library where Elda Colucci is runninq madly around looking for books and at the same time trying to keep the noisy people quiet. Because of scarcity of large houses they have moved into Hg ' the school where their ten lovely children have plenty of room.
