Senior Class of '63 The Senior Class is a special part of Albe- marle High School, for its members lead the student body. Their spirit and school pride are reflected by underclassmen. Many seniors hold responsible positions on the student council, on athletic teams and in clubs. Moreover, senior teachers and students honor certain classmates who have played an important role in their class. Other seniors are rocognized for their scholastic acheivement. College Boards are a must for those who are college-bound, while D.E. and I.C.T. prepare others for useful services to their community. Finally, graduation and its activities come. The senior trip brings the class members closer to that inevitable event, graduation. Together for the last time, the seniors march down the aisle to the strains of Pomp and Circum- stancev to receive their diplomas. Senior Class officers are Peck Maupin, vice-presidentg Cheryl Roberts, reporterg Cabell Smith, presidentg and Carolyn Robertson, secretary-treasurer. Working sfurlenfs acquire salesmsnslrip in D.E.
