Foreword To all of us, ASMS s a great deal more than merely a brick building. To Seniors, it is the end of the rood begun twelve years ago. To Juniors, it is the security brought by familiarity and the knowledge of one more year. To Sophomores, ASMS is o new-found independence temper- ed by bewilderment. To oil of us, ASMS is on integral port of our lives. Looking more closely, we see that ASMS is the sum of its ports, each contributing to the memories we will hove of our school. Mrs. Westerlund ' s pop tests, long lunch lines, boisterous pep rallies. College Day, last-minute cramming, the juniors ' ring day, biology quizzes. Boosters ' buses, Mr. Hatley ' s lob periods, the Junior-Senior Prom: oil of these will be port of our school memories. But each new class brings with it changes. And just as each class has a personality and mood all its own, so does each phase of our school life contribute to the complete Albemarle Senior High.

ASMS is people . . . . . . busy, confident, self-assured seniors. . . . secure, expectant, in-between juniors. . . . anxious, sophisticated, carefree sophomores.
