t6e Sd o As you eagerly turn the pages of your yearbook, this will probably be the last page your eyes will tome to rest upon. There is no doubt, though, that you will notice the numerous unique and new features which have been added for your pleasure to the Thronateeska this year. First of all, is the theme — a modern theme which is achieved by the use of abstract designs and lines. Another significant feature is the end sheets. Albany High School is featured in her full glory with her true colors proudly showing. The various views of AHS and Mills Memorial Stadium were pictured for the purpose of bringing back sweet memories to young hearts both now and in the years yet to come. We thought the Duo-Tone color would add much to your enjoyment. Of course, the most striking and attractive page in the book is the colored picture of the Flint River. The staff is very proud of this page and we hope you like it, too. Other improvements have been made in the Thronateeska this year. Much time and work have been spent to liven up the Administration, Faculty and Class sections. The school social functions have been put in the limelight and more autograph and snapshot pages have been added. This yearbook could not have been produced without the help of the student body, faculty, and a wonderful staff. My thanks go to all of these people. 85 The aim of the Thronateeska staff of 1957-58 was to produce a yearbook worthy of Albany High School and one that would tell the story of your school year at AHS. We also y wanted to present a yearbook equalled by none r '-' jpr- the best ever!
