This is the way it’s done, hoys!” Endless hours were also spent writing up Qualitative Analysis laboratory reports. Vis- ions of moles and millimoles dancing in our heads just added to the dizziness already caused by our other subjects! Our class also sponsored the Junior Prom, held annually in the spring. Our self-confidence and high spirits were dampened by our first Pharmacology lecture, after which we realized shorthand would have been a valuable asset. As we shuffled through our three by five cards, in which all the knowledge of Phar- macognosy was written, it seemed like we had an idiosyncrasy to doses, common names, and uses of these crude drugs. 22
