Ll Ke Club Key Club, open to all AHS boys, and sponsored by Alamosa Kiwanis, became active this year after two years of inactivity. Community service, school service, and aid to the aged were finaned by money raising projects. Students compete in a number of different categories giving dramatic readings of their choice. Debate is also included with one team competing against another on a states-wide or nation- wide resolution. Besides a good learning experience, it's a lot of fun and open to all students.

Future Farmers of America QFFAj has had an active first year at AHS. Developing knowledge and ability in agriculture as well as leadership qualities is the aim of FFA. FHA is an organization for anyone who has taken a home economics course. The main pur- poses of FHA are to provide opportunities for self development, preparation for family and com- munity livingg and to develop interest in home economics, home economic careers, and related occupations. Its main goal is to help youth as- sume their roles in society through home eco- nomics education in areas of personal growth, family life, vocational preparation and communi- ty involvement. Some of this year's achievements were making a quilt to donate to the Nursing Home and attend the state FHA convention in Ft. Collins. L.
