CONCERT BAND The Concert Band during the Pops Concert. The Alamogordo High School band plays a dual role during the school year. Football season brings the marching band to school every morning working on half-time shows for the football games. After football season is over the band starts work on concert music. The con- cert band gives four concerts during .the year. These include the Pops Concert, the Winter Concert, the Spring Concert and the Music Festival Concert. Besides playing music, the band has a magazine subscription sale drive. Keen competition arises between band members as they compete for the prizes that are given to the highest sellers.
