What Do We Wear? ABOVE: Senior girls show off '87-'88 styles. BELOW: Josie Meador and Beth Bailey are dressed as typical Heightsters . ABO VE Curly hair has put girls into a frenzy. ALSO ABOVE McClellan and Martita Hunt- ress display glasses as fashion statements. :sg l Heights Has No Stylel This year at Heights individualism and varied tastes were brought out by the clothes we were wearing. There was no one wright way to dress. Some people stuck with the traditional preppy look while others sported the more updated Vogue loolss. Layers have been left behind and more simple two-piece outfits Student Life have become more evident. For guys, faded blues and pastel oxfords were the uniform. For girls, minis and high collared shirts and sweaters were a favorite. Accessories were also a biggie. Girls wore more jewelry, belts, hair bows, patterned hose, and carried purses than ever before. For guys as well as girls, bother- some contacts tools their place. Horn- rimmed and bright colors were the most popular frames. Through their specs, these stu- dents could still tell that: PADS COME AND FADS PASS BUT ALAMO HEIGHTS STILL HAS CLASS .
