Although the temperature on August 20 registered in the upper 90,s, that day really signalled the beginning of Fall for us, for it ended our three months of freedom and began the 573-374 school year. We chose our classes, teachers, got our books, took a disbelieving walk through the halls . . . had it really been ON A HOT, STICKY SUMMER DAY frightl coaches J im Keener and Ted Masser edge their way through hordes of students waiting in line for class scheduling.
