J.v. BASKETBALL Z Rick Roach, Steve Moore, Rick Hayes, Rusty Broacha, Bill Oen, Larry Reynolds, Tom Sheats, Mark Perehoduk, Wade Swarm, Doug Bragg, Keith Heglin, Rodney Mordhorst, Dennis Bagley. Coach Bradley, Coach Joe Rillos. The Junior Varsity finished their season with a 7-11 record. Although the team posted a loosing record, it could have easily been a winning one, as many losses were close. Many of the teams fourteen members played in the games and all were certainly an asset to the team, Mark Perehoduk was the teams leading rebounder and scorer. He was just short of setting anew junior varsity scoring record but he did break the free throw percentage record with 752. Larry Reynolds was the teams second leading scorer and rebounder and lead the team in field goal percentage with 52Z.The abilities of Rusty Broacha, Wade Swarm, and Rick Roach to play several different positions well was very valuable to the team, Rusty was the teams 3rd leading scorer and rebounder and Wade provided the team with form, The ball handling duties were provided by Steve Moore, Rick Hayes, Rod Mordhorst, and Dennis Bagley, Rod led the team in steals and assists. Steve was the teams best defensive player, and Dennis Bagley was 2nd in field goal percentage, Bill Oen, Mark Barela, and Keith Heglin and contributed to the team from the role of the reserve, Doug Brag was a constant inspiration to the team because of his hustle and determination. The teams most im- proved player was Tom Sheats, He is fast developing into a fine all around basketball player, Coach Joe Rillos

MIDDLE Manager Corey Moore, Coach Rick Bath Manager Mark Beaudoin, Alameda's Sophomore team finished with a record. The teams final statistics showed a great many ac accomplishments. Kevin Heidt led the team in Free Throw percentage and set a new record, The teams lead ing scorer was Dane Wingo followed closely by Bill Bellmyser and Kevin Heidt, In team rebounding the com petition was very close, Kevin Heidt, Mike Ferraro, and Dane Wingo all combined greatly to this team strength Statistics and improved performance throught out the year indicate that this group of athletes should represent Alameda High School very well in the the 1974-1975 basketball season.
