We is T if Frosh Mature During First Year The Class of 1981 had many fund rai- sers this year. They included bake sales, and candy sales. The Freshmen showed a great deal of spirit during Spirit Week taking third place as the Freshmen of the Fifties . The class advisor is Mr. Nethercutt. Fall Ad-Board Aids In Transition. ff? ,f f' f ,Q cf,-A This year's Fall Ad-Board, headed by speaker Didi justin, kept very busy be- fore making the transition to the new school. The five committees: Assembly Planning, Campus Affairs, Finance, Pol- icy and Social Activities, headed by, Shannon Conner, Celeste Holmes, Steve Canepa, Gavin Payne and Sandi lanusch respectively, put together such activities as Spirit Week, Spaghetti Feed, Home- coming, Freshman Orientation, the Fare- well Dance, and the Sports Award Des- sert. The concession stand at Thompson Field was built and painted and the Transition Booklet and Multi-Media Show were completed. It was quite a wind-up to a final semester in the old Alameda High.
