S.B. Officers Keep Busy The Spring semester saw hard-working Scott Keeler elected to student gover- ment's highest post, where his fanatical leadership helped him to better the con- ditions at AHS. Also working at his best vvas Vice-President Cary Silverman, who along with Scott, attempted to coordi- nate assemblies and dances. Recording secretary Morris Bonadona enjoyed a productive term in office, coordinating the third annual Don Perata Paper Shootp as well as collaborating with Enci- nal's officers on a joint dance between the schools. Financial secretary Steve Canapa was re-elected to a second term, and his committee continued to work dilligently, striving for a sound system for Thompson field and the court area while staying within the budget. Commisioner of Spirit Karen Nelson also did well, as she and her committee engi- neered the spring student body elections as well as trying to unite the students of AHS. 20

'N if N Alterman Heads Student Body Leading the Student Body during the Fall was Erik Alterman, calming angry students by investigating the parking ticket issue, while still participating in both SRC and SAC meetings and helping in the over-all transition to the new school. Fall Vice-President Shannon Conner managed all the assemblies, featuring Kalayaan and Max Pellicano. She also participated in SRC and SAC meet- ings. The decorations for all dances, along with intensive planning into the last Farewell Dance was done by Secre- tary Sandi lanusch. She was also in charge of the Ad-Board Spaghetti Feed held in early October. Steve Ca- nepa was Financial Secretary and pro- vided his help at the Thompson Field concession stand. Celeste Holmes made an enormous contribution in school spirit with a fantastic attitude, along with organ- izing the new Hornet T-Shirts, but- tons, pennants, and concession stand..
