Alameda High School's This year the Christmas Pageant was held on December 11. Vocal, Instrumental, and Modern dance students performed at an 8:00 P.M. performance. The Orchestra, directed by Carlton Hansen, presented “A Christmas Festival,” “T’ll Be Home For Christmas,” and “The Christmas Song.” The choir sang ‘““Ave Maria” which was directed by Mrs. Shirley Vidal. As a change from last year, there was a brass ensemble directed by Dominic Vinceguerra. They played a variety of old and favorite Christmas carols. Participating again this year were members of the modern dance classes. Directed by Maria Molnar, they presented “Christmas in Dance.’’ As an added attraction, Patti Hanna of the San Francisco Ballet, was seen in “Variation du Ballet” from Serenade.
