After coming to the college in 1921, he was responsible for the revival of athletics after a lapse of 6 years. Ht! served .15 athletic director and in 1924 sold the. idea of a Negrn football game of high calibre to the Bow! officials with the Tuskegee-State game. . .Other athletic- firsts for H. C.
